One of my friends at work is retiring, and I decided to make her a necklace. Making jewelry for other people stresses me out, so I had my sister help me pick out the materials. My friend wears really pretty but simple pieces. She dresses in a classic manner; think Ann Taylor. So I chose a beautiful lampwork bead by Walter Gross and put it on some nice chain, nothing too fussy or busy. I hope she likes it!
I have got to start making my own headpins. I would have liked a more robust wire wrap, but I didn’t have the right headpin in the right length. Or at least I need to increase my stock.
I had a lot of fun wrapping it too. I love choosing the fibers for the bow.
