I’ve had this rustic Lisa Peters Art donut pendant for a while. I am so in love with it! I had written down a design idea, and went to work on it today. It wasn’t at all right for the piece, but I’ve tried a number of things and finally have one that I think is right.
I wanted to use some sort of fiber, but anything I tried seemed too light as stringing material. I ended up using this sari silk at a connection. It is secure, gives a pop of a different color and texture. I like this black wooden beaded chain because it is rustic and brings out the crackle lines in the pendant. The silk, when I was using a larger piece as stringing material, had some green in it, which accounts for the green flower dangles. But I like those colors anyway.
I hope you are having a fine day and a safe week ahead.
